Avon sells itself. As a representative you do an Avon business for yourself, your family, and your customers. So many times I hear people complain that they don't have a reliable Avon representative. Well, like many things Avon is evolving and so is the representative. Today we have many wonderful and competent representatives. Avon is a complete lifestyle for me. We use it all over our home and we save money doing it. It helps me feel better about myself, and I know that I am using products that are 100% guaranteed. Like any business you get out of it what you put into it. I don't want my customers to feel as if I let them down; I want them to have the best and most positive experience they can have. What's nice is that I don't have to go and push products. People come to me asking for catalogs and samples. That's why I don't think I sell Avon... I share Avon and the Avon experience.

Some people join as an Avon representative thinking that it will all just come to them. Owning an Avon business is like owning any other business - you have to work it. No one is magically going to come to your door to order. A lot of people may know you sell Avon but not really think about ordering. Make it known in a lot of ways. Use the products, show the products, and then sell the products. If you don't have a store where people can just walk in and see what you have then you have to take the products you sell to people. There are a number of ways to do this. Take products to school or work with you. Give out free samples. Sit with people and talk about the products. This is a money making opportunity. Sitting around and expecting things to happen for you isn't the way to do it... you have to believe in your success and work for it. Believe me, it does work.

Here it is December in Wisconsin and no snow? By this time last year we were knee deep in snow. I'm sure cold weather will be coming. I wonder if everyone got their Holiday shopping done? I ordered one of the limited edition Little Dot perfume gift sets. They are wonderful! I showed them to my friend Jennie and she had to buy one. I can see why these made Avon famous. I was going to give them as a gift, but I am tempted to keep them. Well, we are already in campaign 26. This is the last campaign that people can order before Christmas. I better get back to my list and checking it twice.
